The work on the development of the hotel and restaurant technician qualification standard within the TO REGOS project started in mid March 2020 and was organised by Ms Diana Xhelili of the National Agency for Education, Vocational Training and Qualifications (NAEVTQ). The qualification standard is based on the already developed regionally based occupational standard for the hotel and restaurant technician.
In the period between 17th March 2020 and 04th of May 2020 the working group composed of business and education experts and led by Ms Xhelili worked online on the development of the qualification standard. Usual face-to-face meetings were substituted by online and phone meetings, emails and other digital media.
On 04th May 2020 the working group met for the first time face to face in the premises of the NAEVTQ to finalise the qualification standard of the hotel and restaurant technician. The main goal of the meeting was to elaborate the outcomes of the online meetings between business and education experts and to finalize the qualification standard. The main goal of the meeting was successfully reached and the qualification standard will be published in the section Project Outputs of the WBA4WBL Platform.
