First TO REGOS regional consolidation meeting within construction sector

The first regional meeting for the consolidation of the last two occupational standards within the construction sector was organised on Monday, 14th December 2020 within the TO REGOS project. The meeting was organised by the Education Reform Initiative of South Eastern Europe – ERI SEE Secretariat and moderated by Ms Ejvis Gishti, director of the National Agency for VET and Qualifications, Albania.

Following the development of the first two regional occupational standards within the construction sector, dry construction worker and painter,  the project partners moved towards developing the second two occupational standards for floor layer and tile setter. Their finalisation will mark the end of two-year long journey that was taken by six economies seeking to develop the methodology for the development of regionally based occupational standards and to test it on five occupational standards.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the meetings for the validation of the tile setter and floor layer occupational standards will be organised online with the representatives of all six participating economies. The second meeting is planned for Wednesday, 16th December 2020.
